Fitness can easily become a way of spending time with your children and enjoying all the health benefits you deserve. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete, our fitness center offers Personal Training, Fitness Classes, Adult Sports, Special Programs and a Fitness Staff that can answer all your questions. Fitness Orientation
Learn about the Fitness Center. Get started on a fitness program taught by one of our trained staff. A Fitness Orientation consists of goal setting, strength & cardiovascular training, charting, and a body analysis.

Cost: Fitness Orientations are FREE to Members and sign ups can be done in the Fitness Center.


Be Trained (The Works)
Personal Training is great for individuals desiring private instruction and guidance during their workouts. Our trainers will help you set and reach specific goals, reach new fitness levels, help you stay motivated, and add challenge to your current workout. Contact Dan for information.

Focus on Fitness (Beginner Program)
This six session program provides instruction and motivation to start you in the right direction. It will help you establish goals, learn about the fitness center and nutrition, build a workout plan and calculate your body analysis.

Aerobics Classes
We have all of the aerobics classes you are looking for. Our YMCA offers Pilates, Zumba Fitness, Abs & Spinning, Spinning, Stretch Plus, Target Training, Walking, and Yoga. Please click here to download the Aerobics Schedule in PDF form.

Spinning
The Spinning program is the original and most popular group cycling class. You’ll torch an average of 500 calories per 40-minute ride. you’ll get a heart pounding yet low-impact workout—while maintaining the ability to go at your own pace.

Pilates
Strengthens the core muscles by developing pelvic stability and abdominal control. Exercises improve flexibility and strength.

Zumba Fitness
How many times have you gone to a workout class that labeled itself as fun and easy-to-learn, only to struggle to follow the moves or leave feeling like you broke a blood vessel instead of a sweat? The truth is Zumba is that class you’ve always dreamed of. High-energy, Latin-themed exercise routines with, yes, easy-to-follow steps. Try today’s hottest fitness phenomenon “the class that is taking the world by storm”.

Yoga
In yoga, relaxation and stress-reduction are key benefits. You will also see gains in physical and mental strength and flexibility.

Target Training
This class incorporates aerobics, line dancing, interval circuits, weight lifting, stretching and more for a comprehensive workout.

Stretch Plus
Move through a variety of exercises to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and physical skills for everyday life. Chair is used for support.

Youth Triathlon
The Triathlon is the fastest growing multi-sport in the world. It creates fun competition between youth athletes. Triathlons are perfect because they challenge youth athletes to cross train in three disciplines swim, bike and run. Space is limited sign up for 20 minutes of running, 20 minutes of spinning and 20 min of lazy river action. T-Shirt included.

Youth Fitness
This six session program provides information on cardiovascular exercise, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and healthy eating. Includes instruction on proper use of cardio and strength training equipment. Successful completion of the course enables youth to workout in the fitness center. For ages 11-13.

The Edge
Sports fanatics get ready for the fall sports season. The Edge was designed and developed to meet the needs of tomorrow’s athlete, an athlete who strives for an edge on the competition. We’ve combined plyometric training methods and explosive lifting to create the perfect sports conditioning program.

Open Adult Volleyball
Spike it up! The YMCA pick up volleyball program continues to be one of the most popular adult sports programs the YMCA offers...YMCA adult members gather for lively and friendly pickup games. Drop in to get active, hang out and play some ball!

Mondays 6:30-9:00 PM
Wednesday 7:00-10:00 AM
Free to members

Noon Hoops
Join your friends and co-workers over the noon hour for a fun and stimulating game of basketball. If you are 18 or older join us for a great run on one of the area’s finest courts.

Monday - Friday 12:00-1:15 PM
